Re: (Incomplete) Telefang English Translation

I think the main point of the disassembly is to figure out what changes were actually made in the patch , since it's been worked on by multiple authors over the years and we were starting to lose track. ^^; The other part is just documenting how the game handles certain screens so that it will be ea...

Re: Rocket Company IS Smilesoft

To shed some more light on this... Rocket company is indeed officially gone, along with Delta-Arts, the company that was developing the recent Medarot RPGs for them. These blog posts sum up the situation pretty well: https://projectrisingbeetle.wordpress.com/2016/05/02/medarot-rpg-developer-delta-ar...

Re: (Incomplete) Telefang English Translation

Catching up on this thread for the first time in a looong time... First, thank you Imaynotbehere4long for getting on our case so much. :D It's actually really motivating to see that people still care about the project, and I think regular forum updates are a good idea. I agree with the plan of makin...

Re: Telefang 2 English Bootleg

Yeah, it looks like the text you posted is only the first part of the script. The text locations seem to match up pretty well with the Japanese game, so this list should help you with finding the rest of it: http://wikifang.meowcorp.us/wiki/User:Kimbles/T2_Translation_Notes (BTW, think you could put...

Re: Gachasta or GachaSta?

I'd be fine with changing it to GachaSta. XD It just never came to mind when I first started writing about it. *shrug*

Re: Blank screen

Did you apply it to the Speed version or the bootleg? So far, the patch only works with a Japanese Power rom... Aside from that I'm out of ideas. :S

Re: Patch files on wikifang

^ What he said. Generally speaking, you should only need to download the latest patch since it contains all of the changes from the previous versions.

(Moved the topic to the hacking forum where it belongs.)

Re: (Incomplete) Telefang English Translation

Wooo! XD Thanks for fixing the FD glitch, that caused a lot of trouble on my original game and it'll be nice not having to worry about correct phone answers anymore. XD Could you give some more detail about the mismatched pointers in the story phone text? I didn't notice anything wrong, but I'm also...

Re: Denjuu personality

It's also worth noting that if you raise their FD high enough, it makes them much less likely to show the bad effects of their personality. (I forget how much, but it does make them much easier to use.) Just make sure not to raise any Denjuu's FD above 100, which is possible in phone conversations.....

That site's correct, but it only applies to items sold directly through Amazon. They generally only list old books on the Amazon Marketplace, which lets other people sell their used stuff... The upside is that they tend to be CHEAP (most of their game guides are only 1 yen!), but they don't ship int...
