Re: Let's Grapple Beetles
It only makes it better that Mr. Beetle-Mask says "I AM IRON!". (Well, 'I am Kurogane', but that's probably the way Chinese pirates would render it. XD) I also can't get over the way "Hirata Kuwagata" rhymes for some reason, though I know that wasn't the game designers' doing by ...

Re: Denjuu vs Digimon vs Pokemon
Denjuu could probably beat almost any normal Pokémon except Satoshi's Pikachu. XD (...Unless it was one of the many times Satoshi's Pikachu had to lose to show that it wasn't invincible, that is. Somehow I can't quite imagine cute little Pikachu defeating something with the name 'Doomsday' singlehan...

Re: need help reading
It's in Japanese. Try looking for resources on hiragana and katakana like this (written pronunciations), this (stroke order, not critical for the game but may help you remember them), or this (audio pronuciations) and you should at least be able to understand the characters' names fairly well (hint:...

Re: What is Your biggest mess-up in pokemon?
Emulating my 4th-gen game. I lost a couple of Pokémon in emulator crashes due to save corruption or something, and now I have little chance of transferring any of those Pokémon to my 5th-gen cartridge (something I thought would be relatively easy, which turns out only to be that way in theory). My f...

(Poppofreeze? Jidongbo? o_0)
I also think the redrawn Dragonair (10,1) and Mr. Mime (8,4) are hilarious... And that silly Rhodanthe wannabe, too (1,10). XD

Re: Telefang anime opening song (fanmade)
I just converted my midis to wavs to make them easier to work with in audio editors and made a tentative vocal version of the TV-size one. It of course doesn't sound as good as I'd imagined it thanks to my fail-tastic microphone (maybe the noise removal on it tries a little too hard... it puts this ...

Re: Kinda new to this game! so I have a few questions
No, you still save to the cartridge like normal. When you first start up the gameboy, the device will show its main menu (if it's turned on via the switch on the side) and from there you can copy the save to it or write a save file you've backed up to the cartridge, along with a few other options (I...

Re: Gym leaders being named after plants.
Have you ever noticed that in the Japanese version of Pokémon, just about all the Gym Leaders are named after plants (at least from Generation III on)? I know it's probably just a coincidence and most likely has nothing to do with certain members of the Telefang staff going to work for Game Freak, b...

Re: Kinda new to this game! so I have a few questions
I believe you can buy a device like this to back up/restore the saves on your Gameboy cartridges if you're concerned about losing your save. It's not super expensive, and it can hold up to a hundred different save files/save file versions if needed (I don't think I've even put twenty on mine).
