According to most Chinese bootleg sites i've seen, the official title for Telefang when literally translated into Chinese is 'Xiedai Dian Shou', which literally translates to 'portable electric beast'. If Telefang had been officially released in China /Taiwan this is what it probably would be called.
The word D-Shot also literally translates to 'D-Tian Xian' or 'D-Antenna'.
Quite a lot of the bootlegs refer to the games using Pokémon titles, but they also have the literal translation of the Japanese title on occasion.
