My save data got deleted......Did this happen to you?

:'( When I Started playing my Japanese Speed version it came up with a picture of crypto crying.
I think it said something like''your game save data has been deleted''.
Yes,my save data got deleted ,probably because of the internal battery ran out of energy.I will replace it tomorrow and start all over again.(two weeks of gaming wasted)


If anybody else got their save data deleted because of an old or faulty battery,please reply.

I believe that says:
Save data is broken.
Play the game again from the beginning.

What does してくだい mean?

Anyways, I guess something went wrong. Not sure if it was the battery, though. If the battery died out, you wouldn't get an error message but simply had no save. :S

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be してください (please), and they actually made a typo on this screen. o_O

I dunno, have you tried starting a new game? Though, I guess if you have to restart anyway, changing the battery now is probably a good idea...

Yes, I started a new game on the old battery earlier today and it came up with the same message.
And now the game saves perfectly with a brand new battery inside.Thanks for the advice! ^_^

Cheat devices can also cause the same effect to Telefang save data from what I've heard.

I don't use cheat devices,so it must've been the old battery that caused the game to delete itself.

I've had this happen to me with my cart of Telefang Speed 1, but I never saw the screen of Crypto crying.

The game has cheek to do that to say "Save data is broken.
Play the game again from the beginning." XD

Hope the game is back to normal now though.

No, I didn't replace the battery.

Then again, I did buy Telefang Speed new, so it probably was just started up when I first turned it on, if that has anything to do with it.

Anyway, does anyone have a screenshot of the crying Crypto?
