Re: Touhou Project
I've been playing Touhou for quite a while now. Anyway, I have literally every single official game, and my favorite is by far MoF. In the PC-98 games, my favorite is MS, followed closely by HRtP. I can typically play on Hard, but my problem is that I tend to die very stupidly on the easiest pattern...

Re: Monster Race
Maybe so. It seems that while it was very popular in Japan, they weren't sure of the reception in America, and they may have underestimated it. Square-Enix still underestimates the popularity of Dragon Quest, for example, despite having such popular games in DQVIII and DQIX. They released so few cop...

Re: Monster Race

Re: Monster Race
Yeah, in the DS game, there are jewels that you can pick up, and when you feed them to your monsters, it adds a certain amount of hue(can't remember the actual term for it). There were several different color, and I believe that there were somewhere around a dozen "levels" of hue(or whatev...

Re: Monster Race
I've played the DS game. It really is quite fun, even if the races have a tendency to get annoying in the part I stopped at(I believe it was Asia, if I remember correctly)
Either way, I absolutely loved that game, and really loved making my monsters different colors xD

To me, it looks like the Minimize sprite in GSC. Anyone have that on hand?

Re: Shui Hu Shen Shou/Sheng Shou Wu Yu
Forgive my laziness in that I *just* inverted everything(except the already colored sprites), but here's a MUCH easier to see version:
(Oopsies missed a line of black on the right. Ignore that please =/

Re: Kakutou Ryouri Densetsu Bistro Recipe!
Of course you don't see many creatures like Pokemon - it's not a Pokemon game. Not all monster-raising games need to have similar designs. in fact, I much prefer it when two monster-raising games have vastly different monsters.

Hey, at least they know good-quality sound effects when they hear them.
