Yeah, here's Blaziken's patch.

It would be possible to workaround better by figuring out how the game reads the palettes and repointing them, I suppose. Or just tell people not to use VBA. bgb obviously handles this properly.

You can get a VBA savestate already in the debug menu here. If you use it with the translation patch, it'll be fully translated, too. See TCRF for a description of how it works.

Try using the debug menu. It allows you to enter any of the ~102 maps and if you enable free walk, move through walls too. Nice job, by the way.
