Re: The Bugsite translation patch
The patch should work perfectly for both Alpha and Beta, but it's mostly for the menus. The dialogue hasn't been translated yet (and probably isn't gonna be for some while), sorry!

Re: Comic BomBom scans!
I got 113 images (290MB), not sure if it's all the ones you posted, but it probably is.
Anyway this is why you should never trust a service like Imageshack -_-

Re: Possible total control?
When you open the menu, $c480~$c4c0 is copied to $c260, and then $c0a0~$c3a0 is copied to SRAM bank 3 temporarily. Then when the map is loading the whole area at $c0a0~$c3a0 is nulled. It's then used for map stuff like cursor position. This is recovered after returning from the menu. Not sure what h...

Re: Possible total control?
IIRC, it's making a mess of memory - copying a large chunk of data from one SRAM bank to another, but the bank is different than it expects. The data contains, among other things, the coordinates. So I don't think it's actually *executing* garbage. And I don't think Telefang has any callbacks in mem...

Re: Telefang/Smilesoft @ Reddit?
I'm still not convinced. The telefang fanbase is miniscule. Fragmenting it further by making a subreddit may cause confusion. And I'm not sure if if your average Reddit person would really be so intimidated by a forum, as you're saying. Say the subreddit does get made. Reddit is fast moving, but thi...

Re: Telefang/Smilesoft @ Reddit?
I'm a little confused. If you make the subreddit redirect, what's the point? So you could link to it? Why not link to the forum directly? It's sort of a gateway. For people who are already on Reddit but don't want to sign up for a new forum right away, the subreddit might be a place for them to sta...

There's a board, there's a wiki, there's an IRC channel.
What purpose would a subreddit serve?

Re: Have you guys ever considered moving off of Zetaboards?
Honestly, merged accounts with the wiki are a pipe dream to me. Sounds like a maintenance nightmare, especially when upgrading either side (wiki or forum), and I sure wouldn't want to maintain the PHP. FluxBB is not bad, I've seen it used on a few forums like Skeetendo . Although it does have a pret...

Re: Have you guys ever considered moving off of Zetaboards?
Sorry, but since when is Python a web based programming language? I've never heared of one. There's a lot of Python web frameworks, like Django, Pyramid or (my pet favorite) Flask. Many popular websites run on Python, like Youtube, Dropbox, Reddit, Yelp, or veekun. Anyway, we can really move at any...
