Re: Telefang figures

According to one of Telefang articles in Comic Bom Bom they were sold for 980 yen in stores, so these are a little more expensive. It's possible that prices varied, although I don't know how strictly Japanese stores adhere to RRP's.

Re: Telefang figures

Those have been up for auction for a while now since they're a little expensive on their own. I considered buying them at one point for the forum here, but sometimes big lots of them turn up for much cheaper, so it's better to wait.

Re: ROBOT PONKOTTSU COMIC BONBON

Wow, i've never seen it for that much. It would be much cheaper to import it from Japan. When Hit-Japan sold it on ebay it was a quarter of that price. I wonder if they only put the price up on their website?

Re: Pokemon game with Suicune on it

Bootleggers often use unrelated pictures on cartridges, so Racie is right, it really could be anything. I'm sure i've seen that multicart before, there's a shop on Taobao that was selling those.

Re: Bugsite Phone Cards/Poster

While scouring the internet I found a shot of all 4 cards that were given away (presumably with the games) that had the codes for secret Bugs on them. I've never seen all 4 cards before, so this was new.: http://www.rpgamer.com/games/other/gb/bugsite/propaganda/card4.gif There was also a promotional...

Re: There is a Robopon bootleg cartridge!

Not that I know of at the moment, but knowing bootlegs there probably are some out there. I do know that some of the sprites from Robopon were used in a bootleg game called Shi Kong Xing Shou.

Re: ROBOT PONKOTTSU COMIC BONBON

It was a special edition of the game that featured characters from Comic Bom Bom in it. I do remember Cyborg Kuro-chan featuring as one of the robots. A lot of the sprites were revamped, but I don't know what else was changed. It's apparently somewhat rare to find, I haven't seen it very often.

Re: Pokemon Jade on Ebay.uk

There's plenty of information about this game on the forum here and Youtube. A lot of people have done video walkthroughs of this game already, so there's no shortage of info. It's basically just a bootlegged/garbled english translation of the game based on the original Japanese text. Pokemon Jade i...

Re: Pokemon 3 in 1

The bootleg of Crystal will most likely be based on the Japanese version. There's actually quite a few of these 3-in-1's floating around with both Diamond/Jade/Crystal. I'm sure i've seen this cartridge before actually, since I remember one featuring a Hoothoot on it.

Re: what game is this?

That game is called Monster Race. It's for the Gameboy. I have this one myself. You catch and race monsters to win the Very Best Cup in the game.
