The maze at Shield is made up of 7 rooms.

The format is:
number to represent the room: [type of room] left exit, right exit (entrance) - colour of sprite, position of sprite

1: [standard room] 2, 3 (0) - cyan, near entrance
2: [standard room] 4, 5 (1) - yellow, near entrance
3: [standard room] 5, 3 (1) - magenta, near exit
4: [cpu]
5: [devils gate] 6 (2)
6: [standard room] 4, 7 (5) - magenta, near entrance
7: [standard room] 7, 1 (3) - yellow, near exit

After fighting the boss at the CPU tower you will receive the CPU of awesome (it is noticeable by its lack of 8/16/32/64/128/256G in its title). Equip this CPU to a bug in your party to access the door in the middle of the devils gate room, this will lead you to Dark Castle (I think that was what they called it), or as I call it, the mojibake room.

Note: Rooms 2 and 4 of the mojibake room/Dark Castle (not the Shield maze) change into one of three different rooms every single time you enter them.

This took me an extremely long time to figure it out. This should help everyone avoid spending several hours on the problem like I did.

Let me know if any of this is less than accurate.

XD Awesome, good job! How did you get to rank A, by the way? :O

Um though, I'm kind of wondering why you keep calling chips CPUs, when the game only ever calls them chips? >__>; Also, it only says G after the number, not GB, so it could really mean anything...

I think it happens around the v20 mark (user ver. that is).

Ever wonder why the shop you get them from is called the "CPU Shop"? Ever wonder how you get a "chip" at the CPU tower or why the place you get it is labeled "CPU"?

Maybe its some weird custom semi-motherboard+cpu combo? I wonder if the manga can tell us anything.

I got rid of the B at the end. Better?

Though only ram or rom doubles like that, so I still say it's GB.

EDIT2: What is the Shelter chip for? D: it reduces all your stats...
EDIT3: I sure hope Promenade wasn't the final boss, I one-hited it...
EDIT4: What, it was... D:

6 Bugs caught.
Sad, I know...
I kinda rushed it, though, so that I could work on the patch without any spoilers.
My next playthrough will be better!

Also, the overleveled starter is caused by being stuck twice :/
