I'd actually prefer to use Game Maker, since I know how to do a little coding my self (He says.. months later)

I'd like to get a demo tulunk village out. All I need is basic programming and I can insert sprites up the shizzam!

RPG Maker FTW !
RPG Maker 2003 even more !

I don't know Game Maker but with rpg maker you can do anything you want,
you just need to be strong and become a good illusionist.

I already tried long ago to do a Remake of telefang.
I think I can do so much better now but it doesnt interest me.

Since we can hack telefang 1 when we do patchs,
I'm sure we can hack it to put better graphics.

That the simplest way to do a Telefang 1 Remake.

You are limited to 4 colours per tile and 3 colours (excluding transparency) per sprite on the gbc.

Building the game with a game editor+engine like rpg maker or game maker offers flexibility with much more ease, but it makes the game difficult to port over to any platform other than windows.

@Zapchu25: Actually I wouldn't mind attempting to port your engine if you mind lending me your working file at the end. It might be good practice for me.

Port my engine? haha woah there. Another language for me there haha. Explain?

Also, I'm working on the opening scene with the tree in the real world. This is a total work in proggress. Anyone have any references from telefang 2 that I can look at? or any good sprites of trees and chainlink fences? haha very specific

Awesome!! I Really like the more reasonable clothing, and the style is super cute too :D

Coincidentally I was trying to draw him a few days ago and just then realized how weird his regular outfit is... longsleeves under a shortsleeve hoodie?? Then I got distracted trying to figure out how I'd look in that (weird as hell probably.)

Oh dang!! You ever tried it with Photoshop before? I'd love to see what you come up with! Apparently my model's UV map is a little screwed up so I need to fix that first, but I'll send it to you as an .obj when it's done, sound good?
