Re: The (Not ) Definitive Telefang 1 Translation Topic
Well, I've returned from the dead and updated the list. ): I'm extremely sorry for the wait, but I'm finally out of school now and will be able to focus on this again...
I've added the attack and item lists to the 4th post so feel free to check them out... They're still mostly empty, but I'll try to fill in the attack effects for the next update. I was able to find all of the bootleg attack names on RacieB's site, but I'm still missing some of the items. They sort themselves automatically on the item screen, so if someone could list them in order I would be able to compare. *nod*

And so, I finally stopped lazing around playing bugsite and updated this... It took a pretty freaking long time to put in the kana, but at least it's done now. XD
It looks like it's only single-stage Denjuu that use plant names, so for a lot of the evolution lines we're eventually going to have to discuss how to spell stuff. :/ I'll fill in the rest of the plant names I can find in the next update, and then I'll probably get back to beating the game...*nod*

Re: The (Not ) Definitive Telefang 1 Translation Topic
You've been doing a good job so far. Keep it up! I just realized that the bootleg (not sure about the original) has two moves called E-Wave and two moves called S-Wave. You seem to have only one for each one. The S-Wave that you have listed (Ultrasonic) is the one that confuses and is the one that Netaro knows. The E-Wave that you have listed is the one that paralyzes and is also the one that Netaro knows. There's also an E-Wave that confuses that I think Warta can learn (I think it says でんじは), and an S-Wave that paralyzes that I think Gentiana can learn (しょうげきは).
Here are screenshots in case I got the hiragana wrong (because I tend to confuse symbols that look similar):

(By the way, those screenshots show two of those personalities... maybe you should list those too!)
EDIT: I also noticed that there are two moves in the bootleg called "Resume" and two called "Defend." Those lousy bootleggers!

Re: The (Not ) Definitive Telefang 1 Translation Topic
Aww, thank you for the sticky~ XD I'll probably still post for every update, though. *nod*
I've added a few more entries this time, but for the most part I'm putting the encyclopedia text on hold... I've run into some that I have no clue how to translate, and it was slowing me down too much to translate them all before I updated. ): I'll get them all done eventually, I just want to focus on movesets and stuff more at the moment. *nod*
As for the S-waves and E-waves, thank you for the head's up. XD E-wave looks like it's gonna be an issue, though. :/ The one Netaro learns is called "denji ueebu", with denji meaning electromagnetic and ueebu spelling out wave. The attack that warutah learns is "denjiha", which is the true japanese term for electromagnetic waves. The kanji for ha is the kanji that means wave. ;_; They are exactly the same...
So, I'm probably going to have to wait on naming it until I can at least see what the attacks look like. ): Freaking japanese.
And yeah, I've been thinking of adding personalities and status ailments for a while... I think I'd rather wait until I have a clearer idea of what they do, though. XD I'd also probably want the bootleg terms for them in order to compare. *nod*
Now, I sleep. D:

Now, you were saying in the Wikifang shoutbox that you didn't want the articles for those Denjuu whose names are not confirmed yet, right? So if like there are some names here which are not in the list in Wikifang, is it by accident or something?
Example: Armaru and Driarmor.

Re: The (Not ) Definitive Telefang 1 Translation Topic
Uh...okay.
First picture is cut off, but it said something like "This guy is my 'soldier'. He'll wipe out anyone who gets in my way."
After that, "Kai has challenged you!"
"Touru has challenged you!"
"Sayuri has challenged you!"
"Wanda has challenged you!"
"Go Go Racer has challenged you!"
"Reporter has challenged you!"
"Old Man Thunder has challenged you!" ...Though that one sounds silly no matter how you word it. :/ I kind of wish you would make a seperate topic for these...
And Andwhyisit, yeah, I got your screenshots. XD They've helped a whole lot, thank you. XD I'm sorry I haven't been translating stuff from those yet, but it's still easier to figure stuff out when you have all of the sprites and movesets and things first... That, and we've had company over for these last couple weeks, so I haven't really had a chance to play. ): I'm really sorry for taking so long...
Edit:
...So what, you just tell me to translate the stuff so you can add the names to the wiki without even bothering to say anything? :/ Sorry, but that really strikes me as rude... You could have at least acknowledged my response before pasting it somewhere else. ): Also, this is a translation topic, but I wish you wouldn't use it to mass paste screenshots unless they're related to the stuff in the first posts... There just isn't enough room here to cover characters and story points on top of everything.
And sorry Milnivri, I haven't added some names to the wiki because I'm still not completely sure about them... Some of them seem to be lack any reasonable name origin, 'least that I'll ever be able to find, so it's kind of stressful to think that what I pick here will be used as official later. >_> Unless you guys are perfectly fine with Gilearth, Gilgiearth, and Gigagigearth as Tsunonasu's evos, which are what I'm leaning towards looking at the pronunciation...*sigh* I was hoping to do polls for this sort of thing but I suspect nobody would bother voting, so bleh... >_<

Re: The (Not ) Definitive Telefang 1 Translation Topic
Just arrived:

...^^
Player's guides for Telefang 1, Telefang 2, Bugsite, and Dino Device, plus all 3 volumes of the Telefang manga. Plus the guide and manga for Bistro Recipe. XD Why not.
The guides are actually surprisingly small, about the size of a normal DVD box. :O It looks like the Bugsite guide is the only one with colour pictures of every monster, which is kind of sad... XD But the Telefang 1 guide basically has everything that I need for this topic, so I'll likely be able to finish the list in one sitting.
It even has base stats. XD
Everything is in really good condition despite being used, so I am a very, very happy person. XD
The Telefang manga looks awesome. XD I'll probably read it tonight.
