Is it silly to pay extra for a proper luxury service when my Infiniti runs fine?

I own a 2017 Infiniti Q50 with about 64,000 km, and so far I have taken it to whichever shop was closest and cheapest. Nothing bad ever happened, but last month I noticed small things that bother me. The seats were not as clean as I liked after the last wash, the dashboard had a strange creaking sound over bumps, and the person at the counter could not tell me what oil they used. I just got a number and a quick thank you. My wife teased me and said I treat the car like a fancy toy but service it like a taxi. That stayed in my head. A friend told me luxury cars deserve luxury care and it saves money in the long run. Another friend laughed and said it is the same oil and the same filter, so I am only paying for a nice waiting room and free coffee.
