I ruined my Pokemon Jade game but I got another 1

yeah.. remember how I got a copy that could save off of ebay? Well I spilt coffee on it and it short circuited the game so it freezes after the introduction. I felt soooo retarded and I was sooo upset. But I found another one off of ebay and it can save. I'm just worried if it has the Liz Island glitch. I have a question, does it happen because of the game or does it happen because of something you do. Like lets say it happens, and you restart it would it be possible for it to work a second time?

anyways thank me for making a rare game even rarer by destroying a copy. =3 at least i have a new one now tho.

Oh... wow, that's weird. You should be more careful next time. Anyways, I have no idea why Liz Island locks up at all. It may have to do with some flags or something, I'm not sure. I've never heard of it happening in the Japanese version, though...

And does your GameShark work on your new copy of Jade? If so, if you ever get locked out, you can try the following codes to get to the Palan Antenna Tree:

010704C9 (This takes you to the upper-right quadrant of the overworld map with the antenna tree tiles)
013906C9 (This takes you to the 58th position on the map, which is the 8th row and the 2nd column)

If the graphics garble up, try saving and reloading, and it should use the proper tiles afterwards.
