Are they as powerful as his final natural evolution?

Fusion evolutions aren't as strong as natural evolutions in Telefang 1, but stats in Telefang 2 still aren't fullly understood. It'd probably be safe to assume Rex's final evo is stronger than any of his mid-level ones just because it's one higher stage than they are.

It's also important to note that, in Telefang 2, the stats of fusion evolutions are affected by the specific item used, and fusion evolutions can also be reversed (just take them through the lab again.) This means you can easily try out alternate evos before choosing natural evolution if you want - natural evos can't be reversed, though.
