Mine was a shiny tentacool in gold version during junior high. I saw it during my way to the league leaving newbark town, I ran into to many tentacools and then it appeared. What really sucks is that it didn't register quite well in my brain and I ran away from it. It was a once in a life time thing for sure.

My first shiny was a Shiny Rattata. I encountered him in Pokemon Fire Red, my first game ^^

Mine was a Cleffa with green ears that I caught in my Pearl version like, 6 or 7 years ago, sadly that's all I remember...

Weirdly enough, it was an Azelf in Pearl. And that's the only shiny I've ever gotten without specifically looking for one with certain methods.

In crystal I encountered a Rattata or Sentret. A real shame because my balls have just run out ;_;
But a real amazing treat was shining Torchick in my Pokemon Sapphire. I didn't even know that it was so special at the time (colour didn't differ much in this case). But unfortunately that's it. I think at one point I had a shiny Zubat/Golbat/Crobat... but the memory is fuzzy.
