even if you don't put any codes it erases. It has nothing to do with that.

I think that Power and Speed (and therefore, Diamond and Jade) have the same memory addresses anyway. Telefang 2, however, is a different story...

I am assuming that the same issue is present in the non-bootleg games as well.

SniperNightOwl wrote: Glitches in my game
- Intro's color's are messed up like in the Diamond intro.
- The game will freeze if I try to perform a soft reset
- The game will turn a black screen and freeze after I call a secret e-monster
- Creating new ring tones is impossible, it's all screechy noises
- Using a gameshark will erase my saved data, even if I don't turn the code effect on

Glitches NOT in my game
- The game can save perfectly
- The game does NOT freeze if I try to use "prop" with no items
- The game does NOT crash after pressing start after a game over
- No vase glitch
-Liz Island works fine

So far this looks like a great game to dump.
I had diamond and jade once. The saving will not last long. The saving feature just dissapeared on me one day.

Get a new internal battery for the cart, that should fix any saving issues. This is a common problem with games that have internal clocks (eg. Pokemon Gold and Silver), the internal clock makes the internal battery drain faster, and you need the internal battery in order for the game to hold saved data. It doesn't help that the internal batteries found in the bootleg were most likely cheaply made.

I didn't know about that when I had them. Their gone now, to somebody on ebay.

That'll happen eventually to all GB/GBC games, but due to the cheap batteries used in bootlegs those will likely die faster. When I popped open my bootleg copy of Gold (for science!) I also replaced the battery, and the one they had in it didn't have any kind of brand name or identifier on it at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if the bootleggers made the battery themselves. Since it doesn't have a brand name at all.
