Nice! You come out of the dark and you give us this! Are those tiles compressed? If so, how did you do that?Sanky wrote: Here's the newest patch, version 14!

And I added "no items".
Just two things though. First, maybe make the "c" in "Cancel" a bit longer (you have the room to do it, right?) And maybe make "No Items" two lines instead of 1 so that it's more readable. But other than that, great!

How did you edit those font tiles? I wouldn't mind creating a full font set and editing the menu text for the rest.Sanky wrote: Here's the newest patch, version 14!

p.s. Awesome work btw.
Re: (Incomplete) Telefang English Translation
I have a bad message for both of you: the other menu tiles are NOWHERE TO FIND. What I did was changing the OK and Cancel down there, explaining A and B. I was only lucky that the menu choice used the same tiles. It was not compressed AT ALL. Everyone could do that.
Beginners luck, I guess. Sorry.
Still, I think it'll make navigating the menu A LITTLE easier...
I'll make the C bigger, and I'll do something 'bout no items.
And don't mind the 0 broken, I fixed it after taking the screenshot.
You should make this topic sticky and name it "Telefang Power: Translation Patch" or something like that, it's a bit misleading now.
I have to ask, though, what hex editor are you all using, and if you could point me to one, post the chartable here too, thanks!

Everyone else seems to use WinHex:

The patch, the original game, and the bootleg all have different character tables. Which are you after?Sanky wrote: Thanks, could you post the character table for telefang, too ?

Oh, sure, I'm sorry. I meant the patch.
I can't seem to figure out how to load .tbl files into XVI32... Help please? ^^

Re: (Incomplete) Telefang English Translation
You don't need a character table for the patch, it has been changed to ascii values (for commonly used ascii characters). You can pretty much just type it into the hex editor if you wanted.
Re: (Incomplete) Telefang English Translation
But all the "new line" "end text" characters are messed up. And I want to see the hiragana/katakana...
