Well, I thought the VWF was properly implemented and is working ok :-)
At least i could not find any major issues with it so far ^^

So.. what is going on with VWF?

No. The translation patch is frozen indefinitely because of problems with the VWF.

What problems with the VWF exactly?

It's mentioned on the changelog and a few pages back.
When a Denjuu calls you in a battle, you get this screeching sound lasting five minutes.

That's about it. There's also minor graphical glitches, but they aren't really such a problem.

That almost sounds like the vwf is overwritting some registers it shouldn't i wish the original coder released the source code the vwf then maybe it could get fixed.

Not to be rude, but it also doesn't seem like anyone is looking at it either. That won't really help with the project being put on an indefinite halt.

I realize this, but it is outside of my ability to attempt to fix this, and i was the one who did the last three patch versions, although still with the glitch.

I have been meaning to fix that but I just could never get motivated.

You know what, no more excuses, I'll start looking at the different versions of the patch right now to isolate the VWF ASM so that I can figure out where the problem lies.

EDIT:
I may have solved the problem. If not "the" problem then at least "a" VWF-related problem. Not sure how to test it but at least the game doesn't crash on startup, that's always a good sign. :D

Anyone wanna test it for me?
