Supposedly, there are rumors that some new Pokémon game is coming. There's not much known about it now, but some people speculate that it's either a Gold/Silver remake or a new generation. We won't know until May 10 what this really is supposed to be. Here are some links:

It would be cool if G/S were remade with updated graphics... and without battery issues... but it could be something else...

Yeah GSC was probably the best of all the serieses, its about time that there was a GS remake since there's already RBG remake =)

...And guess what. I think these new games really are remakes of Gold and Silver! They're called Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Kinda weird names, but oh well.

I knew it would happen eventually... I hope that they correct the flaws of D/P/Pt, such as the bland battle backgrounds, the lagginess, and the somewhat dull overworld. And a Gold/Silver game with Swords Dance, Reflect, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Rock Slide, Substitute, Explosion, and Thunder Wave as TMs? Awesome! I also hope they add in beta material, like the supposedly planned Safari Zone, and the Lake of Rage Town (yes, I said town). And my least favorite thing about Generation II is that it's the only one where wild Pokémon run away from battle (without even giving you experience, no less!), which hasn't been implemented since. I hope that doesn't return!

Oh, and by the way, I think they should have called the Gold remake Shiny Gold. Yes, I know there's a hack with that name, but it's not like Nintendo hasn't named their games after hacks in the past!

Interesting, it appears from this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8Mm75h ... re=related) that your starter follows you all about like in Yellow. That's a pretty cool feature in my opinion, and kind of makes up for the lack of a Thunder Yellow (or any various other name) game along with FR/LG. Hopefully this will be implemented in some interesting ways this time around- I always liked turning around to see what my Pikachu was mad at that time XD
