After finding an article about Diamond/Jade that showed a red cartridge for the game here: http://famicomfreak.blogspot.com/2011/06/pirate-game-of-week-028-pokemon-jade.html I decided to look for some more boxes and cartridges and this is what I found.

I found a few images on a Pirate Game wiki that shows boxart for a Diamond/Jade 2-in-1, plus different boxart for Jade with planet earth in the background: http://piratedgamemuseum.wikia.com/wiki/Pokemon_Jade_(Telefang)

Also found a flickr image that shows the Diamond/Jade pirates on GBA that bootlegged two NES games (Little Nemo and Tiny Toons Adventure):

There's also alternate boxart for the Chinese Jade bootleg as well:

EDIT: Fixed second link; the last parenthesis was cut off before. --Blaziken257

Ha, that review is the most positive one I think I've seen for the bootlegs! Especially since it seems they don't know the context of the pirate being based off a legitimate game...

Hmmm, these links are interesting. Where to start?

The review (in the first link) is not unlike other reviews of Telefang; the reviewer only seems to be aware of the bootleg version. However, this one is less biased than most other reviews, and actually gives the game a chance: they praise the graphics, sound, and even the gameplay! That's a surprise.

In the second link: some of those boxes and carts are interesting. Pokémon Green? Digimon Emerald... seriously? 2-in-1? I also find it weird that there's a Spanish version... is it actually in Spanish? The GBA cart is also weird, but I've seen it before (I'm so curious to what this game actually is!). I also find it weird that there's a manual that looks very similar to the manuals of the old Pokémon games.

Third link: Wow, more GBA carts! Are there any YouTube videos of these? I wonder why nobody has bothered showing what these games are... also, that second cart is weird. I wonder what game this one is... also, I see the Spanish word "Diamante", yet I see the English "Gotta catch 'em all!", as well as the English word "version" (and it's placed after "Diamante" which is also more English-like). Kinda weird hybrid there... if this was supposed to be a Spanish cart, it should have said "Versión Diamante" (notice the accent over the o, and the word order) (or to imitate the real Pokémon games, "Edición Diamante"). Also, I hate the use of the Comic Sans MS font, it's so atrocious...

I also love the off-center stickers, and the weird "Game Boy Advance" logo. I've seen both those before on other carts, however...

Fourth link: Weird, I guess I should have known there would be a box/cart for the Chinese version, but I still find it weird. The raindeer we all know and love (or hate?) is back, and that red starburst with "GAME" looks like it's supposed to imitate Japanese boxes... also, I love the "GAME COLOR" text on the side of the cart; the bootleggers don't even try to make it look real. Heh. I wish there was a larger version of the image, though; it's a bit hard to see as it is.

Where do you find these links, anyway? It's crazy.

I tend to do random searches for Chinese bootlegs from time to time using the Chinese names for the games. I also do general searches for Diamond and Jade as well, which brought up the links I found.

The other version of the Chinese Jade version's boxart is here: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=7956775663&

There's also a green version of it's cartridge as well, although most of the ones i've seen are blue: http://img07.taobaocdn.com/bao/uploaded/i7/T1FAXHXd4nXXXWBXM0_033849.jpg_310x310.jpg

There's also a Chinese bootleg that uses Telefang 2 Speed version's cover art: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=26833420&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.show52.com%2Fgba%25E5%258F%25A3%25E8%25A2%258B%25E5%25A6%2596%25E6%2580%25AA.asp&ali_trackid=2:mm_25895681_0_0,0:1327169658_4z5_1790634723

There's also a Power version as well, but the boxart was only in one auction that ended ages ago, so there's no reference for it at the moment. After reading around, i'm beginning to think it might be related to the Diamond/Jade 2 bootlegs since the Speed version is listed as 'Pokemon Jade 2' in the auction. I've seen it listed as Pokemon Jade 2 on some other Chinese rom/auction sites as well and the same screenshots for Diamond/Jade 2 show up for it in searches. It's possible the Power version might be based on Diamond 2, but I don't really know.

Thanks for posting the image again. I appreciate it! The illustrations on the label are the Chinese bootleg boxart for each of the games. The Crystal boxart is based on the Japanese version.

No problem^

I always wonder how the creator of the cartridges can put 3 games in 1.
Usually, pirated games can hold more than 21 games!
It's so mysterious to figure something out like that.

I'm not sure how they do it either, but there are a lot of bootlegs for sale that have over a hundred games put onto a single cartridge. I'm sure that the numbers can go up much higher as well. I'm surprised the cartridges have all that room, although i'm sure they would need a bigger memory to store all of those game.

A lot of memory is true.
