If only this had the Telefang music and text I could read, this would be a must-have. A gray Marshtomp called Bob? Where did they come up with these names!?

I searched for the Chinese name and I think I may have found the cartridge for the game: http://www.sogame8.com/staticpage/gallery/emugame/posters_pic/detail/pic_detail_20091112_10_1.shtml

It's yellow and has Pikachu, Meowth and Squirtle on it.

Also, even stranger, is that a Famicom version of this game exists as well: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=13088630072

I found it on Taobao and it uses the same artwork as the NES cartridge, but with tons of extra monsters added in the background. I'm not even sure where they're from. There's also a Pokemon trainer of some sort holding a pokeball. The famicom version is also made by Waixing, and their logo is in the top left corner of the game box and cartridge.

EDIT: I've found another famicom version of this (again, made by Waixing), but it goes under a different boxart and title. It's called Pet Emerald Jade IV and uses the same manual as the NES/Famicom version of this game: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=9110397248

Also, there's a black cartridge as well as a yellow one: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=7966767728

The boxart from the Pet Emerald Jade IV is also reused for another Famicom game (made by Waixing again, and may possibly be another version of the Telefang NES game as well) but it's called Pokemon Diamond this time and uses art from the anime for the manual: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=9110508164

I got some scans of two of the Famicom bootlegs: http://postimage.org/gallery/5ailq48/7a784fb9/

One is Pokemon Jade and the other is Pet Emerald Jade IV. Both of them have the same cartridge and manual so I only scanned one set.

The Pokemon Diamond version that borrows from Pet Emerald Jade IV's boxart is not a bootleg of Telefang NES, but actually a bootleg of Pokemon Gold. I did some scans of it too: http://postimage.org/gallery/7di12v0/bbb51e48/
