Frozen at the town screen in bugsite alpha/beta

So this isn't necessarily a telefang related question, but I was wondering if anyone has downloaded the English patched network boukenki bugsite game and has gotten stuck on the opening town screen? like the game boots up and i can get past the opening text but once i get to the opening town it just wont let me get past it.

Wait, is it actually frozen or are you not sure how to proceed?

Also I have no idea what you mean by "first town". Do you mean the in-game real world, the gateway, or the FE server?
