Frozen at the town screen in bugsite alpha/beta

I was wondering if anyone has downloaded the English patched network boukenki bugsite game and has gotten stuck on the opening town screen? like the game boots up and i can get past the opening text but once I get to the opening town screen it just wont let me get past it.
