Which PPF brand do you trust, or are they all the same?

My wife and I finally agreed to put film on our new Lexus NX, and now we are stuck on a different problem. The shop gave us three choices at three very different prices, and every time I asked what the difference was, the answer was just “this one is better.” That did not help at all. I went home and read about the Best paint protection films for cars in Abu Dhabi, and what I understood is that films differ in how thick they are, how well they heal small scratches in the sun, how clear they stay over time, and how long the warranty runs. That made sense, but I still cannot tell which of those things really matter on a car that sits outside all day in the heat. So I want to ask people who already have film on their cars. Which brand did you pick, and how does it look now after a summer or two? Does the self healing really work, or do you only see it on a very hot day? Is a thicker film always better, or does it just cost more? I also heard the cheap ones turn yellow, so is that true for all of them or only some? Another thing is the warranty. Is it from the film maker or from the shop, and what happens if the shop closes down in three years? Also, does the brand matter less than the person fitting it? A friend says a good installer with an average film beats a bad installer with the best film, and that sounds right to me, but I would like to hear what you think. If you went through the same choice, please tell me what you picked, what you paid, and if you would pick it again. Easy answers help me most.
