Ah, hello. D:
I have been a slight fan of Telefang for a while, but the existance of a fansite and an actual community for it now have gotten me interested again...*nod*
..So, I've just managed to win an auction (
here), for Telefang Power and Speed, Telefang 2 Power, and Dyna Device Red and Blue. The Telefang 1s are limited edition. I'm happy.

I've had enough experience with japanese games that I'm not worried that much about playing them, but I don't imagine I could translate anything, really....*nod* Even so, I'd really like to help out, maybe with the wiki, or with Dyna Device who seems to be truly lacking in info. D:
It will likely be
many weeks before the games actually arrive, but I have many questions to ask and since I'll probably be living on this board when they do get here there's surely no harm in making myself at home now. Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to Tulunk Village! You got lucky to get all of those. I didn't even know those were even possible to find anymore. Well, glad that you got copies of them...

Ohhh, I saw that auction the other day and really wanted to go for it XP I procrastinate too much though. How are you having them shipped anyhow? (since like 99% of sellers on Yahoo Japan will NOT ship outside of Japan, when I've gotten stuff like that I have to have a guy buy it for me then I send him the money and he sends me my stuff.)

...Or at least I was until I saw the words "Seller will not ship internationally" in clear English on the auction page. Looks like you may be up a creek.
My copies of Telefang 2 Power and Bugsite β that I got off of eBay came from a game importer in France and a German national in Japan respectively. Japanese people never seem to be keen to ship out of Japan for some reason.
I wish I had someone in Japan who'd help me import. I've already found a place to get Telefang Power & Speed for about US$10...

Actually, I'm buying it through Celga...
Pretty much, you pay them extra and they'll bid for you, have it shipped to them in japan, then send it to you....In this case it'll probably be about $30 more than the auction price, mostly for the shipping...D: When you look at it though, that's still not bad at all. *nod*
...Even so, it's almost hard to believe they'd put up five games for $12....I mean, watch it really just be the boxes or something. Hahaha.... >__>

Is Bugsite any good? I tried playing it once but it was so text-intensive that I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do and gave up pretty quickly x_x Which was disappointing cause the monster art I've seen looks neat.

It's pretty neat and for a GBC game the graphics are amazing. It took me forever to figure out what to do too.
The monster design is a little odd, though, but I like Spiral.
