Tulunk Village

I first found Telefang via a bootleg ROM... and despite the awful translation into English, and the fact that I couldn't save without using savestates, I couldn't get enough of it So I mustered my way through a little bit of the game, and unfortunately, it found itself lost among my various other games on my computer. But one day, I remembered the game (from finding another Japanese game, Densetsu no Stafy), and played it again. I had to start all over again, but the game was just as addicting as ever. I still haven't finished it... as I'm a busy guy, being a fan of the MOTHER series (Earthbound, as well as two other RPGs that never saw the light of American localization ) as well. You MIGHT, know me... maybe not, but I hope to use this forum as I've been using Starmen.net's and Skyon.be's, for a VERY long time.

Recently I picked up Telefang 2 for the first time... and although I cannot understand one bit of it, or even have more than one Telefang out at once. I'm having a lot of fun with it... but once again, I'm relying on a Translation Patch...

Anyway, that's about all my history with Telefang, and a bit of my backstory thrown in. Hope to become an active forumer on Tulunk Village!

Well our current hacking project is a re-translation of the first Telefang game for the Gameboy Colour but there is a translation for telefang 2 somewhere here:

Anyways, I've seen a few of the translations that are going on, and all I can say is I'm glad that some people still care about these games! Even though I did learn about the world of Telefang from the Pokemon bootleg, I can say that nonetheless, I still love the game! I'm looking forward to seeing these projects finish, and even help if I can! ^^

Currently, I'm working on a little bit of a Telefang 2 Tourney on SVO (Saturn Valley Online, an MOTHER MMO that is currently still pretty buggy, but fun), but I don't have any people who have registered yet. I'm trying to get it out there, but, well, even if you are well known on the game, it doesn't mean people flock to events you set up XD Oh well, I might expand it to you guys if I don't get a lot of contenders, but I'd like to kind of host a tourney for those new to Telefang (well, people that I'm introducing to Telefang).

Between Wikifang, Telefang Hacking as well as other things we manage to keep ourselves quite busy. Help is always welcome.
