Is there a way to specify a quantity of items instead of single item when buying in a shop? eg I want 99 bombs, its tiring to keep going back and forth and pressing buttons.

Not that I know of. It's annoying if you want to buy lots of items at once. (Unfortunately, the same is true in Telefang 2 as well.)

Oh.
Well I thought you made something more universal... "The item you pick up in a shop isn't "taken" so you can grab more of them and then buy them" would work nicely. I'm just not sure it's in the game's memory like this. Hm, maybe I should look into it ^.^.

Yeah, there's a byte in the RAM for every item. It's not like Pokémon where you can only carry a limited amount of items and then there's a byte determining what item goes in every slot.

jonic the hedgehog is right, that the cheat makes 99 of any item, permenently aka infinite.
