How to trade or link battle in the game?
Is it possible to trade between 2 same versions (eg diamond to diamond)?

You can trade and battle on the main menu (when you start the game). It requires a save, though, so I think it doesn't work in the bootleg.

Once I tested it with Power to Power, and it worked just fine. Just beware though, if you battle and lose, you have to give up one of your Denjuu.
And you can link when you first turn the game on. In Diamond/Jade, the button says "Comm," and in Power/Speed, it says "つうしん".
