Tulunk Village

I downloaded the Power Verison Menu Patch #3 here, and I found that the text was messed up. However, I continued playing the game and realised that I needed to solve the puzzle at Bansis Village. Unfortunately, without any intelligible text, I can't get past it. Will someone mind helping me with the puzzle, as well as the patch?

From FAQ;


When you get out of the tree to Bansis Village, head to the
sothwestern part of the city until you see a green emonster.
Talk to him and he heard rumours that a emonster jumped up in the
center of the city.head to center of the village. When you get in,
a monster jump up and he will tell you to do in order.

X -> the houses you must visit, the numbers corespond to the order the monster gave you

PS - i assume that the puzzle is the same for all versions(diamond bootleg and power rom)

Oh, thank you for the updated patch. Will this work with my current saves as well?

Yeah, it should work with your current saves. I'm surprised that you were able to get this far with garbled text...
