I'm sure that all of you know Twitch Plays Pokemon. Well, they're playing Pokemon Diamond right now. THAT Pokemon Diamond. WTF.

Yep, I've been pasting a wiki link every so often. Then we got our first TPP-based wiki vandalism, awww xD

" This is a bootleg of an awesome game called Keitai Denjuu Telefang: wikifang.meowcorp.us/wiki/Telefang_1 "

Welp, now they're playing a Pokemon-themed hack of Link's Awakening DX.
It was fun while it lasted.

They keep switching around games, but they were certainly stuck with Telefang 1 for a good amount of time until they got the Game Over crash.

Edit:

It's returning. Possibly with the fix?

I hope it'll be the original Telefang instead of the glitchy bootleg. That'll make Twitch's playthrough less troublesome.

The channel is back to playing Telefang, and it's (sadly) still the bootleg.
Gotta love all the comments asking "What game is this?" and etc.
The mob applying Pokemon names and terms is probably one of the more humorous aspects IMO.

Shame they won't get that far since barely anyone knows how the game progresses, and even then there's the time limit and other games before they start Emerald.

If they can't press Select, they can't progress. No way to switch Crypto to Noisy the Lampgera to fix Ion Island... Dx

Welp in that case they've all been screwed from the start.
Hopefully this'll encourage a bit of the mob to try Telefang (not the stupid bootlegs) for themselves.

These kinds of things are exactly why somebody who's actually knowledgeable about Telefang should be the one to stream it. Preventing use of the main menu, and streaming the bootleg which is full of game-breaking bugs, are not good gameplans (and are definitely not good reflections on the series.)
