Blaziken, out of curiosity, have you tried this code on an actual cart? I'm asking because I pulled out my old GS and GBC with Telefang Power, and couldn't get it to do anything even though it works perfectly on the rom =s

I might just be dumb as hell and have forgotten how to trigger codes properly but I tried it a few times with no results. I haven't tested any other codes on it yet, I suppose I should do that..

I haven't tried it on an actual cart yet. There's a mistake in the code I posted; it should start with 01, not 91. If your GameShark is like mine, then the switch needs to be towards the button in the center for it to be on.

Hmm I can't seem to get the wild modifier or change-crypto-into-something-else to work (although I DID get it to freeze up while fiddling with the switch while the latter code was applied.) I'm wondering if Telefang might need a master code to work on a physical cart, but I have no clue how to create those...

I've never heard of a GB or GBC game needing a master code. That's pretty weird though. My only guess is that somehow the GameShark doesn't like Japanese cartridges... though that's weird since Game Boys don't have region lockout.

And it freezes up if you flip the switch? Maybe that's a dust problem, because sometimes that happens to me on my GBA Action Replay, and cheat devices tend to be of low quality.

All I can think right now is that maybe there were multiple versions of the games, and the roms available are something like v2 while I've got a v1 cart? I don't know.. that doesn't seem like a very good guess, really.. even if there were multiple versions I don't think they'd shift all of the data around x_x?

I dunno, I can't test my bootleg Speed version simply due to the shape of the cart, it's made of thinner plastic than normal and won't physically fit into the GS without falling out (I've even tried taping it in there but then it won't start up..)
